Below is a short description of this long journey.

1994

  • creation of the COMPANY (I.B.C. Praha spol. s r.o.) by separating the commercial and service activities from the privatized I.B.C. plant. Krnov – later Armaturka Krnov a.s., part of the SIGMA concern
  • merger of two companies namely I.B.C. Prague spol. s r.o. and Armaturka Krnov a.s., owned by one large Czech engineering group – both companies thus continue an almost 60-year tradition of producing classic steel reinforcement
  • the COMPANY becomes a full member of the Czech Union of Entrepreneurs, and in the Russian Federation – the ČECHROS Association

1995

A Quality management system was introduced and certified according to ISO 9001. At that time, the COMPANY was one of the few companies in the Czech Republic that could boast to have such a certificate. As part of the implementation and certification of the quality control system and a special process – welding – the following certificates were also obtained:

  • AD-Merkblat HP 0/TRD 201
  • AD-Merkblat W 0/TRD 100
  • TRB 801 no. 45

Start of product certification for the countries of the former Soviet Union.

1998

  • the COMPANY purchases the enterprise ARPO, a.s., formerly the Research Institute of Valves of the Sigma concern – it brings unique know-how, production, human and information potential of the above-mentioned research institute
  • a holding of three companies is being created, whose activities are focused on innovation in the production of valves, expanding its own range and increasing supplies to the traditional and nuclear energy industry
  • a Quality system certificate received in the field of design and production of industrial valves, their sales, service and overhaul according to the ISO 9002 standard

2000

Joining the Association of Czech Research and Testing Laboratories.

2004

  • Successful completion of the EU conformity assessment of the entire line of industrial valves in accordance with PED 97/23 EC
  • 10th anniversary of the founding of the COMPANY

2007

Opening of the official representative office of the COMPANY in Moscow.

2008

  • a Quality management system has been implemented and certified in accordance with the requirements of PED 97/23 EC – Module H
  • the COMPANY’s activities are aimed at achieving greater success in supplies to the energy sector

2010

Completion of the necessary reconstruction of production facilities in Krnov, procurement of new technologies and modernization of existing ones. All this for a total of 140 million czech crowns.

2013

  • an exclusive Quality Certificate received from the certification body
  • gradual launch of product certification for countries of the Eurasian Union (Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan)
  • the COMPANY’s production plant in Krnov received a welding quality control system certificate in accordance with ČSN EN ISO 3834-2

2014

  • 20th anniversary of the founding of the COMPANY
  • completion of the transition to product certification for countries belonging to the Eurasian Union – the entire range is certified for supplies to the Eurasian Union according to CU 010/2011 and 032/2013

2015

  • the COMPANY becomes one of the founding members of the created Czech Energy Alliance
  • completion of the certification process for products for explosive atmospheres for countries belonging to the Eurasian Union, in accordance with TR CU 012/2011

2016

The COMPANY becomes one of the founders of CSIOK (Czech-Slovak-Iranian Chamber of Commerce).

2018

Building and obtaining certificates of the management system for environmental protection and health and safety at work (ČSN EN ISO 14001 and ČSN ISO 45001)

2021

Acquisition of a manufacturing company – plant in Ostrava, inclusion of welding workshops into the COMPANY structure and their certification according to ČSN EN ISO 3834-2

2023

  • the COMPANY receives certification (from ČEZ a.s.) as a qualified supplier for conventional and nuclear energy in the Czech Republic
  • conclusion of an important supply contract for the Akkuyu NPP – Türkiye
  • investments in production facilities in Ostrava and strengthening of the COMPANY with new employees in the departments of design, production, project implementation and Quality management
  • the selection of a strategic partner has begun to enhance the COMPANY’s position in the Czech market and abroad

2024

30th anniversary of the founding of the COMPANY.
